“We were referred to Carolyn Botchie from a family member. They said she was reliable, honest and hardworking. Carolyn had their trust and that's all we needed. Carolyn went straight to work. She contacted our property managers and HOA to see about what was allowed for advertising and gather information for the sale that the buyer would need. She set up a photographer for the property the first week; the pictures were beautiful. She was in constant contact with me letting me know what was going on, next steps, when something was happening, what needed to be done. This communication made everything feel effortless. She also kept in contact with my tenant, whom was still living in the property to be sold, to arrange for showings and making sure my tenant had ample time to find care for her dog. When it came to accepting an offer there was some back and forth with the buyer. During this time Carolyn never pressured us, it was always about what we were comfortable with and what we wanted to do and she conveyed that superbly to the other agent. In the end, we were very happy with the sale and the process of everything. Carolyn went above and beyond for us and we couldn't be more thankful! We have her on with us in finding a new home in another city and selling another property we have. We would have noone else! Carolyn's communication is incredible. I never felt in the dark as she kept us informed on everything that was going on. Worked with us and my tenant on scheduling, as we all work weird hours. “Trying to find a home while living in another state is always a challenge. That’s where Carolyn’s customer service shined. We visited the area for a long weekend back in Oct. and Carolyn showed us many homes from Palm Coast all the way down to Port Orange but we just didn’t find anything that was the right fit. Carolyn was always optimistic...more so than we were...and and having returned back to Maryland we figured that we might have to rent a place for the winter, either in Maryland or in Florida, which Carolyn was ready to help with. The day after we returned home Carolyn called us and said that a home had just been listed in the community located in Ormond Beach that we really liked. She arranged a live video tour of the home so we could ask questions and see the home almost as if we were there. Durning the entire process she always answered our questions in real-time and if she didn’t have the answer she would go to the right source to get the answer with little delay. And her happy disposition always made us feel at ease and made the process much more palatable. She never made us feel as if we’re being a bother with what could have been construed as petty questions. In short, she made the process so much less stressful and we ended up with a home that fits our needs in an area that we love.”
